A catch-all feature that is enabled for a certain e-mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not really exist. To state it differently, if you deactivate an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten address under the very same domain name, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital in case you are running some company, for instance. Since you may start receiving junk email messages, you can use the catch-all feature with anti-spam filtering software so as to get only authentic email messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

Setting up a catch-all e-mailbox will be extremely easy if you have a Linux cloud hosting with our company. You can enable this feature through our powerful, yet easy-to-work-with Email Manager tool, which is built into the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you will administer the account itself. You’ll see all the email addresses that you have created enumerated alphabetically and on the right side of each one there will be a mini "Catch-all" icon, which will quickly let you know whether a certain mailbox receives all the emails for a certain domain or not. With a single click on the icon you can enable or disable the feature at any moment. In case there is active email forwarding or in case a different mailbox has already been set up as a catch-all one for a given domain name, you’ll receive a warning note from our system. The latter will not replace/disable anything automatically and without your approval.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than a click in case you have a Linux semi-dedicated hosting plan with us and your email messages are handled by our cloud platform. All the addresses that you set up using any domain name hosted in the semi-dedicated hosting account will be shown in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable this functionality will be to click that icon. In the same manner you will be able to remove the feature, in case you don’t need it any longer. Our system will notify you in case you are trying to activate a 2nd catch-all mailbox for a certain domain or in case there’s activated email forwarding, but it will never deactivate or modify any feature automatically and without your permission.
