Custom Error Pages in Cloud Hosting
You shall be able to set up personalized error pages for each of your domains or subdomains. The feature is supported by all cloud hosting plans that we offer, so once you log in to your Hepsia Control Panel and check out the Hosted Domains section, you can easily click on the Edit button for a domain/subdomain and in the pop-up which will be displayed, you can pick the type of error page that should appear - a default one from our system, a standard Apache server page or a customized one. For the latter option, you'll have to assign the URL to the page, so if you use customized pages, you should upload the files inside your website hosting account first. One other way is to use an .htaccess file located inside the domain or subdomain folder with a line for each and every error type. The actual syntax can be seen in our Knowledge Base, to help you use this function even if you do not have any previous experience.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Servers
Including your own pages for each of the four error types to any web site hosted in a semi-dedicated server account with us shall be very simple and won't take more than several clicks. As soon as you upload the files inside your account, you can check out the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and edit any of the domains and subdomains listed there through an intuitive interface with drop-down navigation. You could select what page should show up for every single error type. Your choices are a standard Apache server page or a page from our system, and custom made pages. In case you select the abovementioned option, you need to type in the link to each and every page inside your account, then save the change. The link or the type of page which will be shown in case a user encounters an error can be changed whenever you want. If you're more experienced, you may use an .htaccess file in order to set personalized error pages as well, as opposed to using our integrated generator tool, and in case you choose this option, the file should be positioned inside the root directory of a specific domain or subdomain.
