Using the JailHost option will not be a substitute for doing routine script updates or using complex passwords, but it will minimize any damage to your Internet sites significantly, so you will have to fix only one website rather than all of them.

JailHost in Cloud Hosting

You can take full advantage of JailHost with each and every cloud hosting plan that we offer and protect your websites against attacks really easy. Each domain and subdomain in the Hepsia Control Panel which comes with our packages has a different folder and contrary to what often happens with many other Control Panels, the content is not mixed up inside a single main folder, so maintaining your sites separate is rather easy. Allowing JailHost for any website takes only a couple of clicks, so even if you do not have much experience, you won't need any specific skills to keep your sites protected. The option isn't active by default in case that you'd like to use some script which requires access to an additional folder inside your account. If you use JailHost, the rest of the sites that you have will be protected, but even a hacked one will not remain damaged for too long because we will have a couple of daily backup copies for it all the time, so we can quickly recover it.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers

In case you have a semi-dedicated server account, you'll be able to activate JailHost with a couple of clicks from your Hepsia Control Panel since we've included this option in all semi-dedicated packages. It is not activated by default as you might use an app that requires access to other folders inside the account and JailHost could cause problems, but you can easily secure all other Internet sites by isolating them from one another. It is very simple because in Hepsia all domains and subdomains have separate folders. In contrast, a number of other Control Panels keep the content of multiple websites in subfolders under a main domain, so a single hacked Internet site there means that all of them will be hacked. With Hepsia, just one site can get damaged and even if this happens, we can quickly bring it back thanks to the multiple daily backup copies which we will keep, so you can go ahead and update it after that in order to protect it from potential future attacks.
